This is the last sketch for February. I have to say that Jane has given us some great challenges this month. The last one is a sketch one, so why not give it a try?
I have a bit of a blue theme going on with my card as you can see from below.
My original plan was to sponge the circle in Soft Sky and over-stamp the hooray in Island Indigo but for some reason it just didn’t come out the way I wanted. In the end, I opted to simply stamp the hooray onto a piece of Soft Sky cardstock and punch it out with a 2″ circle punch.
The two yay’s were stamped in Bermuda Bay and Pacific Point onto Whisper White cardstock, and were simply fussy cut out before they were added to the card front with dimensionals.
The Happy Birthday sentiment, stamped directly onto the card front, comes from the same stamp set as all the others (Confetti Celebration). I simply coloured in the letters with my markers before I applied some Clear Wink of Stella. It is there honest – the photo just doesn’t show it too well.
I did think about adding some additional bling but decided against it because I thought that this would make a great boys card.
I hope you give this week’s challenge a go.

Brilliant take on the sketch. Love those blues and the overall modern funky look of your card.
