Another Wednesday and I’m just in time to post a card for the latest CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge.
This week it’s a sketch challenge.
If I’d known that this was the sketch for this week I would have saved my entry from last week!
Last Friday I had a team meeting at my house and one of the Make N Take’s that I prepared used some of the Irresistibly Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper. We used one of the Sponge Brayers to colour the paper. I liked this technique so much that I thought I’d use it for this week’s challenge.
I brayered the DSP with Soft Sky, Mint Macaron and Pear Pizzazz ink, using the Sponge Brayers (they come in a pack of 4 sponges). Once I was happy with the effect I simply wiped a piece of kitchen roll over the DSP and wiped off the ink from the white floral design. I then layered the DSP onto a piece of Soft Sky cardstock.
The greeting from the Butterfly Basics stamp set was stamped in Pear Pizzazz onto the Pear Pizzazz card stock.
I can’t believe that tomorrow is 1 December (gulp). The panic is starting to set in about all the Christmas and Birthday shopping that I need to get done. But, first I have a Customer and Downline Party on Saturday to prepare for and also the Christmas Cheer Card Challenge on Sunday. I’ll be posting photos of these next week.
As always, please feel free to leave a comment about my entry for the challenge.
