It’s that time of the month again for the Global Stampers Blog Swap. This month we opted to go with a colour theme. The colours being –
I’m sharing a projects that I’ve made using products from the Petals & Paisleys Suite, which I am so in love with.
I started with a blank piece of A4 Very Vanilla cardstock and using the three colours and the Paisley & Posies stamp set I made this. Please note it’s important that when stamping the images, that you cover as much of the cardstock as possible. Don’t leave any large blank spaces.
I then cut the sheet up. With the addition of some Mint Macaron and Rich Razzleberry cardstock along with some Cooper Foil Paper, I made four cards and a holder for them.
On this first card, I also stamped some additional images on some scrap Very Vanilla and die cut them using the Paisley Framelits Dies. The embossed layer is the de-bossed side of the Mint Macaron that I had embossed with the Lovely Lace folder.
On this third card I stamped on the Rich Razzleberry cardstock with Rich Razzleberry ink before adhereing the two pieces. The long strip is simply glued to the front and the larger rectangle is adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On this fourth card I simply added some Mint Macaron 3/8″ Ribbon from the Trio Pack (Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron and Rich Razzleberry).
The last two pieces of Very Vanilla were glued to the front and back of a bag made to hold the cards. The bag is made out of one sheet of A4 Rich Razzleberry cardstock.
If you are interested in seeing the cutting template I used, it was one given to me at a recent training event. I have traced it back to a post by Paula Reid back in September 2014 – got to love Pinterest.
I hope you like these projects and please feel free to leave comments.
Tomorrow I’ll be posting photos and links to the projects from the other global stampers so please check back to see what everyone else has been up to.
