I was busy making my swaps for tomorrow’s team training when I received an email telling me about the latest CAS Colours & Sketches Blog Challenge. I’ve had lots of fun over the last four weeks as a guest designer, so I thought I’d enter this week’s challenge.
This week Bev has set a double challenge – colours and a sketch.
I was already using some of those colours for tomorrows swaps, so I was already half way there. I decided to stay with the stamp set too – guess I’m giving a secret way, but what the heck.
I might just have over simplified the sketch, but simple is good in my eyes.
I used a Melon Mambo base card with a Bermuda Bay layer. The stamped line and banners come from the Birthday Fiesta stamp set. This was one of my must have sets for family reasons. Odd I know, and I’ll explain it to you another time.
The sentiment comes from the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set.
I thought that this card could be sent as a birthday card but it would also make a great party invitation.
Details of the products used are as follows:
The Fiesta Time Bundle saves you 10% on the total price but you can purchase items separately if you so wish. Don’t forget to use the Hostess Code if you are purchasing online.
As always, please feel free to leave a comment.

Such a fun and festive card, love the dimension on the alternate banners. Great use of the challenge colours and sketch. Lovely to see you in the gallery. My apologies in being SO late coming by to comment, it's been one of those weeks! Hugs Bev x
I love your interpretation of the sketch – it's not possible to oversimplify in my book! I think the colours are perfectly suited to your party them. Thanks for joining us this week at CC&S. Caro
