I’ve been having lots of fun with my pre-order goodies, in particular the Swirly Bird stamp set and co-ordinating Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies.
Here’s my first sneak peek of a project made with them.
The stamp set consists of 24 photopolymer stamps and these can be used to make all sorts of images.
For this card, I cut out a piece of Soft Suede using the long thinlit (you need to make sure you put it through your Big Shot or other cutting machine with the thin end first). I then cut off some of the pieces to make the branch.
The bird nest, bird (inc feet), eggs and leaves were then stamped. I used Old Olive, Soft Sky, Memento Tuxedo Black and the new Dapper Denim (on of the new 2016-2018 In Colors).
This stamp set is the one we will primarily be using at the 9 July all day event. The day costs £45 and you will receive over £50 worth of Stampin’ Up! products including the Swirly Bird stamp set. You will also have the option to pay an additional £19.25 and receive the co-ordinating Swirly Scribbles Thinlits too. If you can’t make it to the class you can purchase a kit which will include instructions (inc photos) for all the projects. The kit costs £45 plus postage to the UK only.
The new Annual Catalogue goes live in 4 days and I’ll be sharing a new project each day leading up to the release. In the meantime, I’m off to finish off my preparation for my Open House on 4 June. If you haven’t yet RSVP’d please let me know by 1 June.
