I’m always looking for a new way to send cards and gifts so I made a few of these the other day to send to some of my team. They are a fabulous way of sending small flat gifts such as a packet of rhinestones, pearls or baker’s twine.
The kraft gift bags come pre-made and you get 10 of them in the pack for £3.25. They are even large enough to hold a few A6 cards with envelopes.
I ran the kraft gift bag through my Big Shot with the Modern Mosaic embossing folder. The rear part of the folder fits neatly inside the bag, with the fold at the top and the front plate then folded over the front. Once embossed I then sponged the edges of the embossed medallion shapes with Soft Suede ink to highlight them.
Scraps of Rose Red, Old Olive and Basic Black card stock were then cut out using the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies. I love these dies and the fact that you can make lovely 3 D flowers using the die that has the petals that can be popped out. I used Basic Black for the centre to add some drama, and of course a rhinestone just had to be added for that little bit of bling.
You could also use this design to make a matching card.
