I haven’t made cards using the One Sheet Wonder technique for ages, but as soon as I opened my new pack of Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper I knew that was exactly I wanted to do with one of the 12″ x 12″ sheets.
As I said above, I know I’ve shared details this technique before, but there are so many different ways that you can cut the paper that no two are exactly the same. Throw different paper into the mix and you get a completely different look. So many variations. I decided to go a little more complicated than the cutting into 6 pieces as shown on my post of 9 April so I Googled the technique and came across one that Susan Roberts over at Rainy Day Creations made back in 2009. Using her template I cut one sheet of the paper and used it to make 10 cards.
I broke with convention and decided to use both sides of the Designer
Series Paper so that I had two cards using the same size/shape paper.
The only cards I didn’t do this with were the two with the strips and
this was simply because trees looked a little stumpy and odd side ways
on.
I added some co-ordinating card stock in the form of Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, Soft Sky and Whisper White and this is what I came up with.
I added some wooden Snowflake Elements that I put some Home for Christmas Enamel Dots on |

All of the cards were stamped using the Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set. This is a great set because you can make your own greetings from the various stamps. On a couple of the cards I simply mounted all the stamps onto one block and on a couple of others I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp each stamp individually to make up the greeting.
Information about all the products used for these cards is as follows:
I have a few more Holly Jolly Greetings projects to share with you later this week, so please check back.
