I’m back on bags today, quite apt because I travelled back from Lansing yesterday having moved my daughter into her apartment for her last year of university/college. Anyway, I have two new gift bags to share with you. They do of course also have matching cards.
I’ve stayed with the Farmers Market Designer Series Paper and used just one sheet to make both bags. Each bag was made from a piece that was cut to 10″ x 6″. The 2″ x 12″ piece that was cut off first was added to the bag that has the stripes going around it as I did not want to fold the paper over.
The bag above had the top edge turned over like the bag in my previous post. The flower was made using the 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch and some Cherry Cobbler card stock. I simply punched out the circle and then snipped into the centre and added a pearl to the centre. I put a similar flower on the card.
As I’ve already mentioned, the bag above was made out of the same size paper as the other. I did not fold over the top of the paper but added the 2″ x 12″ piece that had been cut off the paper when cutting the two pieces of 6″ x 10″. The decoration is simply a 1″ circle punched from some Basic Black card stock and a 7/8″ scallop circle punched from some Cherry Cobbler. I added a Vintage Faceted Button and pearl too.
