I’m in Telford today for the Stampin’ Up! Regional Training Day. One of the things I love about meeting up with other demonstrators from around the country (apart from a good chin wag) is the swapping of ideas.
I decided to leave making my swaps until I could pre-order some of the new goodies from the 2015-2016 Annual Catalogue. The rules for making swaps is quite simple – use products that are current at the time, and only make as many as you want in return.
I opted to make 30 this time around and here they are!
These little boxes contain a chocolate and were made from a 6″ x 6″ sheet of Blackberry Bliss or Hello Honey card stock and a piece of 3-9/16″ x 3-9/16″ of Bohemian Designer Series Paper. The Bohemian Designer Series Paper is a new product in the soon to be released 2015-2016 Annual Catalogue.
Here are the boxes in a little more detail.
The Designer Series Paper co-ordiantes with Bermuda Bay, Blackberry Bliss, Island Indigo, Delightful Dijon, Rich Razzleberry and Very Vanilla card stock and ink. |
You may have noticed from above that I used Hello Honey card stock for some of the boxes – I didn’t have enough Delightful Dijon so decided to go with a colour that co-ordinates with the Blackberry Bliss/Rich Razzleberry colours.
My box toppers were made using the Amazing Birthday stamp set and various punches. The bling on the Blackberry Bliss box was made from Gold Glimmer Paper that I’d punched out using the Banner Punch. I can’t decide which of the two is my favourite, and I hope that the demonstrators that I swap with like them.
Lovely to meet you and thank you for the box & chocolate – love it
