With both the kids studying in the USA, their current year at college is nearly over. Time has certainly flown by.
Jenny finishes this week and then heads off to Sri Lanka on a study abroad programme, but Michael has another month. It’s a little too late to send Jenny a good luck with her exams. She sat two finals yesterday and has another on Thursday. She’s obviously been studying hard as she received 100% in one of yesterday’s. A very proud Mum here. Fingers crossed that the others went as well.
This is the card that I sent her for her forthcoming trip.
I love this little elephant, it’s cute and so apt for Jenny’s card. She is studying Animal Science and would like to get into Wildlife Conservation or Animal Rehabilitation when she finishes university. In the meantime her trip to Sri Lanka means that she will get to visit with the elephants at the Pinnewalla Elephant Orphanage.
I used the retiring A Fitting Occasion stamp set to make the above card. The stamp itself was inked up using Basic Grey and Real Red Stampin’ Write Markers. The Curly Label and Modern Label punches that I used to punch out the labels are also on the Retirement List.
I made another card using the same stamp set, but this one is being sent to Michael as a “Good Luck with your exams” card.
The owl is as cute as the elephant. Hopefully he is a wise owl who will help Michael with his studies.
Details of all the Stampin’ Up! products used to make these cards are as follows:
Please note that the A Fitting Occasion stamp set is shown at full price. This is a mistake as it should be discounted by 15%.
