I’ve been busy these past few days with all my preparation for this coming weekend. On Friday (tomorrow) I’m driving up to Telford to meet with over 300 other Stampin’ Up! demonstrators, at our Regional Training Event. I might add that I’m not travelling with all 300+ people, just 3 of my downlines.
One of the things we are asked to take with us, is a name tag which has made by ourselves. With all the other things I had to do such as swaps and downline gifts I was tempted to use one from a previous year, but to be honest it’s not quite the done thing, and in any event it’s looking a little sad and sorry for itself. As a result I thought I’d make one using some of my new goodies (any excuse to play really).
This is what I came up with using some dies from the Deco Labels Collection Framelits and also the Little Letters Thinlits.
Mint Macaron, Watermelon Wonder and Tip Top Taupe card stock Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder and Delightful Dijon accents Delightful Dijon ink |
You can’t tell too clearly from the photo, but I used two new embellishments, some lace trim and the flowers. The flowers are really cute and don’t come with rhinestones in the middle, I added these myself, using some Multipurpose Glue, for a little bling.
Here’s a photo of some of the goodies that I used.
I’m loving the lace trim and the flowers. There are five new 1″ Dotted Lace Trims (each of the new In Colors) and the pot of 2015-2017 In Color Blossom Accents contains 20 flowers (4 each of the 5 colours). Please note that although the pile of card stock includes some Delightful Dijon I did not use this or the Cucumber Crush card stock either. I did however use some Delightful Dijon ink for the butterflies (which come for the Kinda Eclectic stamp set).
