I can’t believe that this is the third day in a row that I have a post. Yippee.
Today I have a couple of cards to share with you made using the Best Day Ever stamp set (available in wood mount, clear mount and photopolymer). Last week I went to Esther’s house to help and support with her at her Sale-A-Bration coffee morning. She prepared a little make and take for us all to do, so I could not resist. I love making cards that I’ve not designed and done all the preparation for – it’s a real treat.
This is the card made last week at Esther’s house |
The card on the right is the one that I designed and made yesterday |
We both used the Note Cards which come with envelopes. So much easier when you want to make a quick card as they come pre-cut and scored and you get 20 of each in the pack for £5.50.
I used Pool Party, Strawberry Slush and Wild Wasabi ink for my card (the one on the right).
I stamped the greeting first in Pool Party and the using the Wild Wasabi ink stamped off before stamping the little triangles at the bottom of the flowers. The Wild Wasabi flower stalks were next as it was easy to make sure that they were evenly spaced thanks to the triangles. Last but not least I stamped the three flowers in Strawberry Slush rotating the stamp each time. The little heart at the top was stamped in Strawberry Slush onto a scrap piece of Whisper White and punched out using the heart punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack – they don’t quite match but I like the effect. The card was then finished off with a bit of bling on the flowers and heart by way of a small Basic Rhinestone.
Don’t forget, you can get this stamp set for FREE during Sale-A-Bration by spending £45 (excluding P&P) on products in any of the current catalogues.
