This week, and more importantly today (23 April) is a World Wide “We love Demo Support” week/day. This is to honour the fantastic people who work behind the scenes sorting out all of our problems and issues. Not that I have experienced many (honest).
These lovely people are always friendly, polite, helpful, knowledgeable and do their utmost to sort out issues to everyones satisfaction.
Some demonstrators have never had to the opportunity to meet any of the Demo Support staff, they are simply a voice on the end of the phone or a written line or two in an email. I have been lucky to meet both Chris and Andre at Convention last year – but only have photographic proof of Chris (see below). It is always lovely to be able to put a face to the name and voice.
In honour of the week/day I have made a card that I would like to share with you. I’m not in a position to post it to Germany in time so I thought I would share it with you here. Yes, Demo Support for the UK is based in Germany, and not the UK but we get to use a freephone number when we have to call, so no long distance charges.
Here are a couple of photographs of Chris that were taken at last year’s Convention in Manchester.

Sadly I don’t have a photo of Andre but hopefully he will be at the Regional Training in Telford next month so I will try to get one then.
Both Chris and Andre do a fantastic job of looking after all the UK
demonstrators, with a little help from other support staff who man the
phones during lunch and other breaks. THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU (sorry for shouting). Hope to see you in Telford next month or Brussels in October.
