I’m still trying to get ahead of the game before I head back to the UK next week and I’m also trying to finish up the last of the Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper that I have here.
It’s my niece Niamh’s 5th Birthday in May (the day I am in Telford for Regional Training) and I’ve come up with a card to celebrate. She’s one of those kids that is always on the go. There’s not much she won’t eat and one of her favourites is Cup Cakes – well the icing really.
Here’s the card that I’ve designed for her. It’s one of those Building Block Card Fold cards that I keep seeing on Pinterest.

The cupcakes actually have little hearts on the top of the icing but I decided to add a large Rhinestone over the top instead. What little girl doesn’t like a bit of sparkle.
The great thing about this card design is that you can use it for any occasion and it’s a pretty simple way of making something that is that little bit extra special.
In case you are wondering, the Word Window punch is actually a bit longer than the Happy Birthday greeting. I simply created a smaller word window using one of the tricks I’ve shown my class attendees.
