This weekend was spent preparing for the three classes I have this coming week. On Thursday, I am hosting a class for a craft group who want to get ahead and make some Christmas cards for this year and on Friday evening/Saturday morning have my regular classes. I don’t normally hold my regular classes so early in the month but needs must as the rest of the month is taken up with really quick trip to the USA and then two weekends of craft shows.
I’m not going to spoil the show and let you see the Christmas cards just yet, but here’s a bonus card that we will be making on Friday evening/Saturday morning if we have time. I like to have four cards (or three and a 3D item) that everyone makes and on occasion they fly through them, in which case I have another project set to one side that they can do.
The paper comes from the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack. There are 48 sheets in the pack – 4 each of 12 double sided designs and what’s more they are a great size for making cards. For this card I only used 1/3 rd of a sheet. A full sheet is large enough to cover a whole card with only a little to spare.

It’s not just class preparation that I’ve been doing this weekend, but also preparation for both the shows I will be attending and also things for the blog for while I am away. I’ll have one of those projects to share with you tomorrow so check back for a sneak peek.
