isn’t gold, but I just love the Good as Gold card kit. It is one of the FREE goodies that will be available at the end of this month as part of Sale-A-Bration.
OK, so there is no stamping involved but it is a great idea for a gift for non crafters, because all you need is some glue and a bit of an imagination (but not really necessary because there are ideas on the packaging) to put it all together.
Last night I spent a couple of hours making the eight cards that come in the kit. As I said, there are ideas on the packaging but I tried to come up with some new ones.
As well as all the supplies to make all the cards, you also get eight envelopes with gold liners.
The greetings come in both English, French and German so I went mad and used all three on one of the Thank You cards. You receive a whole sheet of them so you can choose what you want to and save the rest for other cards or tags.
I even went as far to use some of the gold foil that the small banners were punched out of. It really is a case of waste not want not.
I’m off now to do some first aid on my fingers. One the of the things I’ve been working on today requires the use of a hot glue gun. It’s something I don’t use too often because of my habit of burning my fingers, but needs must. I’ll be sharing the project on a post in a couple of days.
