I had at Convention. This was my first so I had no idea what to expect but it was great fun.
I met with lots of demonstrators from France, Germany, The Netherlands, Austria and of course the UK. I even met a lot of fellow team (Stampin’ Stars) members that I’d never met before because we are scattered all over the country. There were about 60 of us from the team at convention, but not all of them made it for the team photo on Saturday afternoon.

There was so much to see and do. Sessions from the main stage, break out classes where some of the fabulous home office staff came from the USA to give us demonstrations. There was a lot of laughter in some of these sessions and a lot more at the Annual Awards After Party.
Make and Takes, or in my case Take and Makes because I was too busy checking everything else out to finish them. I did mange to finish the two cards which were part of the service project. We did these on Thursday evening straight after signing in and picking up our convention bags.

The Make and Takes came pre-packed with card stock and accessories. There is also a picture of what we are aiming at, but it’s not compulsory to copy. Our convention backpacks contained all the stamp sets we needed and each table had a box containing ink pads, pens and the other things needed. We received three stamp sets in our bags (one of which I’ve been holding out for, for months) but there was more to come.

It looks like we are busy crafting but actually we are busy trying to ignore the camera and not laugh too much.

Stampin’ Up! have adopted the Ronald McDonald House Charities as their global charity and the cards that the UK demos made will benefit the charity here in the UK.
I have tons more to share, swaps, photo’s of the boards (I even spotted a couple of my projects on them) and of course Convention itself.
