After all the excitement of the Awards Night we were all up early Saturday morning to enjoy our last day. Once again there were two formal sessions (at the start and close) and other sessions/classes that you could attend if you so wished.
Oh, I forgot to mention that at the end of the closing session on Friday I met with some other demos for the card candy swap.
Here’s a few of the ones that I received.

Anyway, back to the last day of convention. It was another fun filled day and we got to see some more demos from other countries sharing their workshop wows.
One of them was Bernd Hellmund from Austria. It has got to be hard for a guy to sit down and do a demo in front of lots of women (and a few men). He did a fabulous job making some lip salve boxes and decorating them using the Dress Up framelits.
Here’s Bernd and some of his finished boxes. There was even one for the men!
These are really cute and I’m trying to find out the instructions for them at the moment so I can share at a class.
The day ended with some more prize patrols and an all attendee giveaway, lets face it, who doesn’t love freebies. With my backpack filled with swaps and goodies it was time to head home. The drive home was not too long (for 200 miles) especially since the four of us in the car where chatting nineteen to the dozen about all the fantastic things we had seen and done that weekend. We were of course also making plans about to share all the great things that we had seen.
I still have some swaps and other things to share but we now have even more memories to share about the weekend. Yesterday Shelli posted her blog about the European Convention – actually it was written by her daughter Sara. The Stampin’ Stars feature quite heavily in the blog much to our delight.
Here’s the link for you to check it out for yourself.
I’ll leave you to figure out if you can see a familiar face.
