Before I headed to the USA I took delivery of my pre-order from the Autumn/Winter catalogue and more importantly managed to play with some of them.
We are not allowed to show you the actual products before the release date on 29 August but we are allowed to show projects made with them.
The above is a gift bag that I have decorated and it will be one of my swaps for the Creative Tour that I will be going to in Wokingham in September. Being able to attend Stampin’ Up! organised events is another of the fabulous perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator (as well as be able to pre-order goodies of course).
Stampin’ Up! supplies used:
Stamp sets : Festive Flurry and Greetings of the Season (see carryover list link in the right side-bar )
Card Stock : Pool Party and Island Indigo
Designer Series Paper : Winter Frost Designer Series Paper Pack
Ink : Pool Party, Island Indigo and Smokey Slate
Accessories : Festive Flurry Framelits Die, Basic Rhinestones, Paper Snips and Dimensionals
Just so you know, the Festive Flurry stamp set and matching framelit dies will be available singularly or as a bundle. By buying the bundle you receive a 15% discount on the two. I will have quite a few samples of these at my Open House on 14 September. Don’t forget to let me know if you are coming.
I’ve only been able to decorate one gift bag so far, but I’m planning on
making a dozen as swaps. I’ve brought supplies with me so that I can
stamp and cut most of the parts to make the rest and hopefully I’ll find
time to do all of this prep so that I only need to stick them together once
I get back to the UK. I’m also working on a card using the stamp set
and dies so I will share that with you in a few days.
I am heading to Michigan tomorrow to take Jenny to Michigan State University. This is a whole new exciting chapter in her life. As her mother I am of course a little worried, but I know she will have fun, make a whole new bunch of friends and have lots of experiences that I never had growing up.
Great card…. but nooooooo not Christmas yet please
