I have been wanting to try out this new technique for a short while. I have no idea what it is called but I have seen a number of projects on blogs.
It is in fact quite simple to do and does not require a huge list of products.
Stampin’ Up! supplied used:
Stamp set : Hello, Hello (single stamp)
Card stock : Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Crumb Cake
Ink ; Whisper White Craft and Rich Razzleberry
Accessories : Whisper White Organza Ribbon, Stamp-a-ma-jig and Dimensionals.
The effect is achieved by simply stamping using the Whisper White craft ink first, leaving to dry (you can use a heat gun to dry it quickly if you are in a rush) and then over stamping but offset a little using the same image, but in another colour. The white then looks like a shadow of sorts.
We are off out this morning to visit my Mother-in-law, but I’ll be back this afternoon to make a start on some more projects to share.
Wow, that's really effective Fiona, thanks for sharing.. will have to try that technique myself! 🙂 x
