Today I thought I would share with you a couple of the projects made at the two classes that I held this weekend.
I usually have about 7 to 8 people attending each class but my craft room is just about large enough for 12. This Friday evening and yesterday I had 7 people at each class. Here’s my craft room before Friday’s class.
I can’t show you the other end of the room as my son uses that for his computer and games console. Needless to say he is not around when class is on. |
I love the soft colour on the flower. This was simple to achieve with a Calypso Coral Stampin’ Write Marker and a Stampin’ Spritzer filled with tap water. The trick is to spritz just enough for the colour to run but not so much that the colour washes out onto the paper underneath.
The box was made out of one 12″x12″ sheet of Crumb Cake. It was easy to make using the Simply Stampin’ Scoring Tool along with the Diagonal Plate. I used the exact same template as the box that I made posted a photo of on 7 Feb. The only difference is that this time I used Crumb Cake card stock which I had stamped on.
Stampin’ Up! supplies used:
Stamp sets: Elements of Style (both), Fabulous Foliate wheel (card) and Very Vintage jumbo wheel (box)
Card stock: Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla (both), and Soft Suede (box)
Ink : Calypso Coral and Soft Suede (both)
Accessories :
- Card – 1″ Circle Punch, Very Vanilla Seam Binding, Vanilla Flower Trim, Sponge, Basic Pearls, Dimensionals, Red Sticky Tape and Stampin’ Spritzer
- Box – Labels Framelits, 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch, Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder, Simply Scored Scoring Tool and Diagonal Plate, Piercing Tool, Sponge, Linen Thread, Dimensionals and Neutrals Brads
