Today’s card is a result of combining two challenges. I spotted a couple that I thought that I could combine, so I gave it a go.
Firstly, here is a sketch that I saw on the Clean & Simple Stamping blog – FTL236
and then I saw the challenge on SU-Only Challenges called SUO 68- Just stick to one color -please! As the name implies the challenge is to stick to mono-chrome or just one colour plus a neutral. Because I was combining the two challenges I decided to use a blue in the form of Marina Mist.
Here’s a photo of my efforts
Stampin’ Up! supplies used:
Stamp set : Petite Pairs and Papillon Potpourri
Card stock : Whisper White and Marina Mist
Ink : Marina Mist
Accessories : Paper Doily Sizzlets L, Sponge, Elegant Butterfly and Bitty Butterfly punches, Basic Rhinestones
I am off to meet a friend for lunch later but before I go I need to make her a quick birthday card. Hopefully I’ll remember to take a photo before I go, and I’ll post it on the blog tomorrow.
As always, please feel free to leave a comment.
