sounds like a drink to me but in fact it is this week’s Challenge over at Less is More.
It is this month’s Colour Challenge – Lime and Black.
When I first saw this I immediately started thinking Halloween but it’s supposed to be Spring so I decided not to go down that route. It also reminded me of a Victorian era colour palette. So, having put my thinking cap on and totally covered my work area with various stamps, dies and sheets of card stock I opted to go that route instead. Here’s what I have come up with.
Stampin’ Up! supplies used:
Stamp Set : Oh Hello and Lacy & Lovely
Card stock : Basic Black, Lucky Limeade and Whisper White
Ink : Basic Black and Whisper White
Accessories : Ovals Framelits dies, Stamp-a-ma-Jig and Dimensionals
Wow, that’s quite a short supply list compared to some projects I’ve made.
In case you are wondering. The centre oval was stamped first in Lucky Limeade using the large Oval stamp from Oh Hello. I then stamped three flower images onto the same oval (without re-inking the stamp) before cutting it out using the Oval Framelit.
I shall miss Lucky Limeade when it is discontinued at the end of June. I am sure however that you will see a few more projects featuring it before then.
A very elegant card with a beautiful vintage look. Love your design, and the gorgeous SU goodies you have used.
Sylvia.
This looks just great!
Beautifully done!
Thanks so much

Beautiful – it gives the effect of a cameo brooch perfectly. Hope that's what you intended!
