It’s only 2 April and for once I am pleased to say that I am ahead of the game. The long bank holiday weekend has allowed me to get plenty of crafting in. One of my main aims was to complete a card for a challenge.
I choose the Less is More Challenge – Lucky Dip – Scallops for this project.
Scallops – this could mean anything. Punches, Dies, Embossing Folders all manner of things. I couldn’t make up my mind what to use so I decided to start with the stamp set and to work around that. I haven’t used my Bordering on Romance set for sometime, so I thought I’d dust it off and see what I could come up with. Here’s the result.
I did consider adding a greeting but I like the white space on this card so decided to leave it off.
Stampin’ Up! supplies used:
Stamp set : Bordering on Romance
Card Stock : Very Vanilla and Rose Red
Ink (Stampin’ Write Markers) : Rose Red, Baja Breeze and Elegant Eggplant
Accessories : Scallop edge from the Adorning Accents Edgelits Dies, Textured Impressions Designer Frames, Extra Large Oval punch and Blender Pen
Please leave comments and let me know what you think of the card. I love hearing from you all.
What a lovely card fiona… love how you used the scallops and the little panel. Thanks for joining us this week

Another beauty Fiona, thanks for the inspiration!
It is lovely the way it is… Sometimes greetings make the card inflexible.
This is SO pretty, the colours look fabulous together!
Thanks so much
Chrissie
