There are a number of blogs and challenges that I follow via email and on the internet and it’s simply not possible to take part in all of them. Actually I guess I could but then I’d not get anything else done!
My personal stock of cards to send is getting a little thin so I’ve decided that over the next couple of weeks I’m going to replenish it using some of the challenges as general ideas.
Here’s a card that I finished off the other evening – I saw the sketch (see below) that I used for it on the CAS – Colours and Sketches Blog – Challenge # 22. I think that most of you who know me or follow my blog, know by now that I’m not one for fussy, and that clean and simple is more my type of card.
Anyway, here’s my take on the sketch.
Stampin’ Up! supplies used:
Stamp set : Oh Hello and Perfectly Penned
Card stock : So Saffron, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla
Designer Series Paper : Tea for Two
Ink : So Saffron and Early Espresso
Accessories : Ovals Framelits dies, Stampin’ Trimmer and Paper Snips
I hope you like this. I certainly do, and I can see a few more cards being produced using this sketch.
As always, please feel free to leave a comment.
This is great DSP – one of my favourites and I love how you have used it for the banners. Thanks for joining in this week at CAS – Jacqueline xx
Wonderful card. I love the patchwork strips! Thanks for joining us at CAS Colours & Sketches!
This is a great take on the sketch. Love your choice of papers for the banners and your choice of Early Espresso and So Saffron is a great combo. Thanks for playing along with us at CAS Colours and Sketches this week
