Sorry for the late post. I have no idea where yesterday or this morning has gone. I was busy working on a project that is not yet finished. It is going to take me a few more days, so I hope to post a photo early next week.
I am happy to report that my daughter arrived safely in South Africa after 25 hours of travelling. On their way from Port Elizabeth to the reserve they saw some Giraffes, Zebras and Ostrich’s. Apparently yesterday was spent filling in pot holes in temps that were in the early/mid 30s (all right for some), and dinner consisted of Warthog burgers. I guess that they are not on the endangered list (the warthogs not the students) and I believe that they are one of the staple foods in SA. Knowing my daughter I will get daily updates of what she is eating rather than what she’s doing or seen! At least she is not a picky eater.
Anyway, I digress. Here’s a little card that I made this morning that I thought I should share.
This card was made using just the one stamp and I reverted to using two of my favourite colours, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive. I love these bright colours and they are suitable for all seasons.
I also decorated the inside of the card by putting a piece of stamped Whisper White in there. It finishes of the card quite nicely.
Stampin’ Up! supplies used;
Stamp : Quint-Essential Flower
Card Stock : Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White
Ink : Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive
Accessories : 2-3/4″, 1-3/4″ and 7/8″ Scallop Circle punches, 1″ and 1/2″ Circle punches, Dimensionals
I could have opted to also use the 3/4″ circle to add another layer to the card but I was conscious that it may get posted and I did not want to make it so high that it would not fit in a standard envelope.
