Today’s post is a quick and easy card that simply involves a bit of stamping and a little bit of cutting out.
Sometimes its the simplest of cards that has the most effect and I think that cutting out the edge of the card around the butterflies gives a lovely effect. To be honest I hadn’t planned on stamping along the bottom of the card but there was a little bit of a inky print that I wanted to cover up.
I decided to remake the card and here’s what the card should look like without the butterflies on the bottom (next to the first one). I’ll leave you to decide which one you prefer.
It was the cutting out that took the longest. It’s important to have a really sharp pair of papers snips and the trick of the neat edges is to move the paper rather than the scissors.
