Today’s post is a little late, even more so as it’s a quick glimpse of the Valentine’s card that I made for my husband. I know it’s well after the event but he does glimpse at the blog on occasions to see what I’ve been up to so I wanted to keep it a secret.
The greeting on the card could in fact be changed out to suit the occasion as could the colour way and the small punch. I’m thinking Mother’s Day, which is coming up soon. Hmmm, me thinks you may see this card again but in another form in the not too distant future.
The card was cased from one made by Penny Smiley (you may have seen it pinned to my Stampin’ Up! board on Pinterest).
I thought that I would make this year’s Valentine in a different colour way from the norm. Like me, he is a huge fan of paisley. |
I even cut out a heart on the inside and put a piece of the same paisley paper from the Print Poetry Paper Stack behind it. |

I guess I’d better get on now with the rest of prep for the Make It show. Sunday was spent with three of the lovely ladies who will be on the stand with me. In all we cut and prepared 240 card bases and supplies for the three days. Hopefully this will be enough!
Yesterday was spent collecting one of the glass cabinets to take to the show. I already have the other one here but just need to take it apart to put in the car on Thursday morning. Set up is Thursday so I only have a couple more days left to get it all sorted, gulp.
Today I will be pinning all the samples to the pin boards – this should be a fairly quick job but those of you who know me will know that it probably won’t turn out that way. Not that I’m too fussy, honest! Once done it’s back to working on the demo. I’m thinking butterflies but then again…..
Thanks Dawn. Looking forward to seeing you Sunday too.
Cute card See you at Farnborough Sunday hopefully
