Here is another card that I have made using my brayer for the background colours.
I stamped the image using one of the stamps from the Mixed Bunch stamp set using my Versamark and then sprinkled some clear embossing powder over the top. The embossing powder was melted using my heat gun and then left to cool for a few minutes.
For the background I inked up my brayer with Peach Parfait and then rolled over the whole Whisper White card stock until the background was a uniform colour. I left this to dry while I did the same to two more image that I had stamped and clear embossed but this time I used my Concorde Crush ink pad. Once both sets were dry I wiped the clear embossed images with a piece of kitchen roll so that the Whisper White showed through more clearly.
I punched out the two Concorde Crush images using the Blossom punch from the current Summer Mini Catalogue and layered them using a dimensional.
The Peach Parfait background was layered onto another piece of Whisper White and then fixed to a Pear Pizzazz base card. I punched a strip of Pear Pizzazz using my Scallop Border Punch but before adding this to the card I wrapped a piece of Whisper White satin ribbon around the front of it.
The Concorde Crush flower and the ribbon were finished off by stamping four Concorde Crush flower centres and punching them out using the 3/4″ Circle Punch. The one on the flower was adhered with a dimensional while the others on the ribbon were stuck on using red sticky strip.
I hope you like this colour combination. All three colours come from the 2010-2011 In Color collection so you only have until the end of September to purchase them, as they will be retired from 1 October when the new catalogue comes out.
