The Craft Day has now been and gone – but there’s still a lot of clearing up to do. A huge THANK YOU to all of you who spent the gloriously sunny day with Julie and me. I hope you had a great time and enjoyed all the projects that you made. I will post details and some photos of those later this week.
Here are some more of the petal cone die projects that I made to show my friend Louise.
This second project is made out of Old Olive and Melon Mambo card stock. I cut two dies and stuck them together to make the hanging box. The scallop half circles were folded out and then additional half circle scallops in Melon Mambo were added.
I have had the Everybunny Stamp Set sitting on my shelf for some time and thought now was the right time to use it. I stamped the image in Basic Black and then coloured it in using a blender pen and various colour inks. The completed image was then punched out using the decorative label punch. I then punched out a further two decorative labels in Old Olive. One label was cut in half length ways and the other the long the middle the other way before sticking to the back of the image.
I added some Old Olive Satin Ribbon so that the box can be hung up, and filled with little easter eggs.
I was looking at a scrapbook that I made when we lived in the USA and found some old photos of the kids on an easter egg hunt in the neighbourhood that we lived in. It was always a mad scramble to see who could find the most.
