Last Saturday I spent the day with some of the lovely ladies who are part of the Blue Angels team. A big thanks to Jade for hosting the day, as usual I had a great time. There were six of us who managed to meet up and we were all asked to bring a project and supplies to share (and something for lunch too).
Here are some of the projects we made (sorry no glitter). I will let you see the others another day.
This first card was a project from Kat featuring the Button Buddies stamp set. The card was made by running a piece of folded card stock through the Big Shot using the Large Scallop die. By having the fold within the die, you do not cut off the top of the circle leaving part of the fold to make the crease in the card.
The little piggy was stamped and then cut out and an additional nose was stamped and cut out and then added using a Stampin’ Dimensional.
This lovely flower pot card project was from Jade herself. As you can see, the flowers are fixed to a little card that you can pull out of the pot to write your message on. The flowers that were stamped and then cut out come from the Vintage Vogue stamp set and the greeting comes from the Happiest Birthdy Wishes (Hostess) stamp set.
Cate brought us this card(above) to make. It is so simple but really lovely. The paper comes from the Everyday Enchantment DSP set which is available as part of Sale-a-Bration. The Very Vanilla background to the greeting was made using the oblong frame from Designer Frames embossing folder set and the Poppy Parade label is actually two pieces that have been punched out using the Designer Label punch.
Pip took pity on me with this card and brought me some different colours to use instead of the ones we used for the hundreds (there were well over 200 made in the three days) made at the Make It show. This card is in Pumpkin Pie and Lucky Limeade. I used two of the stamps from the Ornate Flower stamp set along with some ruffled ribbon and some paper from the Designer Paper Stack.
Check back in a couple of days to see the other cards that were made at Jade’s. In the meantime I hope to post another glittery project.
