is another card that I have made and which I am going to enter into the Crafty Boots Challenge. This card makes use of the lovely You are Loved stamp set from the Spring Mini – don’t forget, this is only available until the end of April.
here is a close up of the glittery insert.
I treated myself to some Heat and Stick powder and thought I would give it a try to make this card – I think it worked really well.
First of all I used a Versamark Pad and then coloured over the top of this using my Stampin’ Write markers (Poppy Parade and Lucky Limeade). I stamped the image and then applied the Heat and Stick powder and tapped off the excess. Using my trusty heat gun I then heated the powder until it melted and then quickly added some Dazzling Diamond Glitter. The glitter stuck to the melted heat and stick and gives a lovely glittery effect with the colours still popping through.
The image had been stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock and I then cropped it so that it would fit inside the oblong frame made out of Calypso Coral card stock.
I added a piece of Lucky Limeade ruffled ribbon to finish off the card, but not before stamping all over the base card with the same stamp (but this time in Calypso Coral) to give a lovely background.
Beautiful! I will most definately be caseing this! x
Such a simple yet stylish card and I do not usually like orange/terracotta but this looks just great
Your card is really lovely, it has a nice clean look and I love what you have done with the Heat and Stick powder.
Thank you for joining in the fun at Crafty Boots Challenges.
