I know that 2012 is going to be a fabulous year, and what better way to start it all than with the launch of the new Spring 2012 Mini Catalogue yesterday.
Thank you to everyone for their kind comments about the project I posted on yesterday’s blog. I have to admit that I had a couple of other projects to post but since I’m new to this blog hop business I was not too sure how many to post, so I erred on the side of “less is more”.
I thought that today I would post details of the other two that I had made.
Please click on the photo for a closer look.
This first one was made using the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper and the Spiced Paisley stamp set. I also used one of the really large Designer Buttons. There are 16 buttons in the pack, 4 each of 4 colours – I chose a More Mustard one to pick out the colours on the paper it was stuck onto, and finished it off with a piece of Linen Thread. These buttons are great and I saw them being used on a variety of projects in yesterday’s blog hop.
The Get Well Wishes stamp comes from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. This set has 24 stamps and is a must have as it covers so many different occasions and events.
This second card was made using the new Liebe, Love, Amour stamp from the À la Carte range. This is a lovely single stamp and luckily enough Stampin’ Up! have also introduced a new large 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle punch so there is no need to cut it out by hand.
I stamped 8 images, 4 in Rich Razzleberry and 4 in Tempting Turquoise. I only used the centres of the Tempting Turquoise images and these were punched out using the 1-3/4″ Circle punch. I love how Stampin’ Up! products compliment each other.
The Tempting Turquoise card base with Pear Pizzazz paper from the Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack matted onto it, was finished off with some Whisper White 5/8″ Satin Ribbon, some Basic Rhinestones and a message from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set that had been punched out using the Word Window punch.
