Sorry that I’ve not posted anything for a few days. I have been busy preparing for some craft fairs and things have been a little chaotic.
For those of us not able to attend the 2011 Stampin’ Up! Convention in Disneyland Paris, there were two challenges set on Sunday.
The first was to complete a scrapbook page, a hobby I need to get back into. I decided to give this one a miss as I don’t have any photos that I could use. This is not strictly true as I have lots but all of them are on the computer and I need to get some printed before I can start up with the scrapbooking again. I will post a few pages in the New Year.
The second was to make some Card Candy. For those of you not sure what Card Candy is (which included me at the time), they are handmade toppers used for decorating cards, scrapbook pages, gift tags or anything else you can think of. There are usually 5-6 toppers on a piece of acetate and then put in a clear cellophane bag. They are one of the swaps that people take to Convention, so this seemed to be a very apt challenge.
I chose to use the Clearly for You stamp set and Tangerine Tango, Old Olive and Tempting Turquoise ink and card stock.

We are going to be doing a Card Candy swap so these will be going in the post soon and I will be receiving some that have been made by one of the lovely ladies on the In Love With Stamping web-site. I can’t wait to see what everyone else has made.
Gorgeous – I don't like bright coloursusually, but love that colourscheme!
Thanks for taking part, Leanne xx
