Today’s card is a swap that I made for a team training meeting we had at my upline, Cate’s house.
The card was made using the Greenhouse Garden stamp set along with the soon to be retired So Many Thanks sentiment stamp. The Greenhouse Garden stamp set is one of the Two-Step Stampin sets but, as you can see, it does not matter if you are not 100% accurate. If you want to be spot on then I would suggest using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. I chose to use two seperate colours for the image, Regal Rose and Basic Black but stamped both colours twice so you will see some of the images are paler. Once the flowers had been stamped on the Very Vanilla card base, the bottom was punched using the Scallop Trim Border punch and then a strip of Basic Black cardstock was layered behind the punched scallop to make it stand out. The sentiment was stamped using Regal Rose ink and then matted onto Basic Black cardstock. The sentiment was then attached to the front of the card using dimensionals. Although I used just one ink colour for the sentiment it would have looked equally as good if both Basic Black and Regal Rose markers were used.
